The project is being developed by COMM22, LLC, a legal entity comprised of BRIDGE Housing Corporation, MAAC Project, and Bronze Triangle Community Development Corporation. The land is leased from the San Diego Unified School District under a 80-year Ground Lease.

MAAC Project
The MAAC Project is a multi-purpose social service agency with a successful 42-year history of serving various communities throughout San Diego County. MAAC serves 35,000 individuals each year from 35 sites throughout the county, building community by providing empowering social services, health components, education, technology centers, economic development and affordable housing. The mission of the MAAC Project is to promote self-sufficiency for low and moderate income families and communities of Southern California through advocacy for, and delivery of, social, educational, housing and employment services. The Bronze Triangle
The Bronze Triangle is a Community Development Corporation (CDC) that was established to empower the people and communities of Logan Heights, Grant Hill and Stockton to mobilize their resources in order to establish protocol and procedures in the improvements and development of their neighborhoods. Without this CDC, it is very likely that the development created in the East Village of downtown would next sweep to these particular communities to the east.
