Comm22 is located on four acres of land at the historic intersection of Commercial and 22^nd, where Logan Heights and Sherman Heights meet. It is the collaboration of three community-minded organizations dedicated to strengthening the existing neighborhoods, while providing much-needed multi-generational housing, community-serving retail and commercial space, and significant upgrades to the area infrastructure.

Comm22 is a transit-oriented development, providing a commuter-friendly environment intended to reduce the number of cars on the road and encourage the use of public transportation. The Cesar E. Chavez Trolley Stop is located immediately to the east of Comm22.

A system of wide sidewalks, alleyways, lanes and streets connect residents and visitors to retail storefronts along Commercial and 22^nd. Courtyards, pocket parks and landscaped open spaces create an inviting environment where families and children can gather.
